I am so sorry Lenny, Joe, Mark, and Beth and all of your family. We just visited with Karen over spring break and had no idea she had taken a turn for the worse. She was a beautiful lady through and through. I am terribly sorry for your loss, she will be missed.

To Len, Joe, Beth & Mark, prayers for comfort we extend - With fond memories of Karen; a fun, faithful, lifelong friend Filled with joy, talent and love; a true Godsend! As Girl Scouts at St. Pat's, Clinton High classmates, much time we'd spend Painting murals and backdrops with bright colors to blend, Building homecoming floats with parts that could bend! Despite daily challenges most of us can never comprehend, Karen inspired us with her laughter, spunk and smiles without end. A kind, listening ear she'd often lend, While teaching art or visiting Alverno patients on the mend. In Christ's loving arms, Karen's spirit will ascend. May you know the love and support our community may commend.

Dear Cossman Family, My late Mother, France's enjoyed visiting with Karen at The Alverno. When we would bring our little chicks up, she was always happy to see them and to hold as well. Karen and I even talked about anything that was on her mind. She was kind and sweet toward everyone that came to visit their families.

Cossman family I want to express my condolences. I went to Clinton High with Karen and was also class of 73. We also were in Freedom Singers together in the early 70s. An old friend who's passing saddens me. God bless you all.

I was so saddened by the news of Karen's passing. She was part of my Bible Study group that met on Monday afternoons at the Alverno. I will miss her so. She contributed so much to our bible study with her art knowledge. She would always share works of art that were connected to our readings of the week. Will miss her so much.

I only knew Karen briefly as a former art teacher. When my mother went to live at the Alverno Karen came to welcome her and visited numerous times. We always invited her to moms parties. She had the nurses put on makeup which was great since she was so pretty. Her passing is a blessing but also so sad. We will miss her but I bet she is dancing before the throne, glad to be free of this earthly body. I'm sorry for your loss
