Bradley J. “Big Daddy” Parker, age 56, of Clinton, passed away Saturday in Clinton. In accordance with Brad’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at the Pape Funeral Home. A memorial service will begin at 4:00 P.M.
Brad was born on June 15, 1959 in Clinton, the son of Gerald and Corrinne (Dautremont) Parker. He graduated from Clinton High School in 1977 and received his B.A. Degree in Electronic Technology from DeVry Institute in Chicago. He married Charm Bach on February. 5, 1983 in Fulton, IL. Brad was co-owner and Vice-President of Lectronics Inc. and KROS Broadcasting Inc. He was also a member of Local Union #145, I.B.E.W.
Brad loved the river, especially the Galena River and the Bellevue area, where he enjoyed jet skiing. Other favorite activities were playing tennis, watching Indy Car races and listening to the Eagles, and Billy Joel. He was a member of the Clinton Aquatic Board and the former St. Irenaeus Church.
Brad is survived by his wife, Charm Parker of Clinton; two daughters, Ashley Parker of Clinton and Olivia Parker of Davies, FL; a grandson, Callan Fintan Lampe; his mother, Corrinne Parker of Bradenton, FL; a sister, Janis (Louie) Parker-Gerdes of Ladue, MO; three brothers, David (Deb) Parker of Stockton, IL, Jeffrey (Cindy) Parker of Clinton, and Scott (Kelli) Parker of Sabula, and his dog, Dante Diego Parker. He was preceded in death by his father.
