LeRoy was born on August 2, 1927 in Clinton, the son of LeRoy and Flora (Clausen) Cramer. He graduated Lyons High School in 1945. He served in the U.S. Air Corp and Navy from 1945-47. LeRoy married Elaine Sebald on April 15, 1950 in Dubuque, IA. He worked at E.I. DuPont Clysar division as a machine operator for 43 years before retiring in 1985. LeRoy was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. He enjoyed golfing, where he scored a hole in one, fishing, hunting, and the outdoors.
LeRoy is survived by his wife, three children; Linda (Bill) Balk of Thomsen, IL, Robin Crouch of Grenada, MS and Scott Cramer of Fulton, IL, 7 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and three brothers; Calvin (Janice) Cramer of Fulton, IL, Gordon (Pat) Cramer of Clinton, and Richard (Jill) Cramer of Arvada, CO. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, one brother and one sister.

Joan was born on Dec. 30, 1926 in Clinton, IA, the daughter of Louis and Marina (Grill) Meyer. She graduated from Goose Lake High School in 1944. She married Donal Dierks on May 20, 1945 in Charlotte. Joan was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting and playing cards. Joan and her husband farmed near the Goose Lake area for many years.
Joan is survived by her husband, Donal Dierks of Clinton; her daughter, Susan Galetti of Clinton; 5 grandsons, Brian (Jennifer) Dierks, David (Lianna) Dierks, Michael (Jolene) Dierks, Scott (Tina) Dierks, and Jerimy Galetti; and 17 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Allan in 1995, and a sister, Irene.

Sandra was born on Sept. 16, 1939 in Iowa City, IA, the daughter of Nicholas and Esther (Schroeder) Andresen. She attended rural schools in Elizabeth, IL. She previously married Duane C. Kyarsgaard, Sr. on Oct. 25, 1956. She was a homemaker and enjoyed caring for and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, with whom she thought the world of. She loved sewing and baking.
Sandra is survived by her three children, Duane (Sandie) Kyarsgaard, Jr., Dennis (Sandy) Kyarsgaard, Sr., Dawn (Chris) Kaffenberger; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; seven siblings, Dixie Leslie, Dianna Morrow, Larry Andresen, Bonnie Sanders, Debbie Collopy, Terry Andresen, and Marcia Oldsen. Jim was born in Clinton on October 10, 1923, the son of Phillip and Lenora (Leonard) Burke. After graduating from high school he served in K Company, 3rd Battalion, 5th Regiment, 1st Marine Division of the United States Marine Corps from 1942 thru 1946 in the Pacific theater. Jim fought on the islands of New Britton, Peleliu and Okinawa, then spent the rest of his term in China. Jim married Alice Bower on August 5, 1950 in Camanche. Alice passed away on April 18, 1974. He was employed at E.I. DuPont for 35 years. He was a member of the former Odeon Club and enjoyed bowling.
Jim is survived by his son, James Burke, Jr. his wife Mary Ann, of Washington WV; a step-daughter Donna Hansen of Las Vegas NV, and a grandson, Andy Burke of Clear Water, Florida. Paul Edward Troutman, the son of Henry P. and Eleanor J. (Morse) Troutman, was born October 15, 1945 in Clinton. He attended Clinton Schools and later the Glenwood Training School. Paul married Shirley Wilson on May 21, 1977. Shirley passed away on September 20, 2014. He was employed at various restaurants and also at St. Joseph’s Mercy Hospital and the Skyline Center. He was a member of the Christian faith and enjoyed attending church services. Paul was an avid baseball fan, having been a season ticket holder for many years for the Clinton Baseball Club. Paul had a good sense of humor and loved animals, especially dogs. He bowled in the Skyline Bowling League, enjoyed going out to eat and spending time with his nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
Paul is survived by his son James Paul Troutman; two grandchildren, Nicholas and Jacob, and their mother, Wendy Boelens of Clinton; a brother Robert (Linda) of Clinton, two sisters; Norma (Tom) Jones of Fulton and Shirley (Richard) Carpenter of Morrison, an Aunt Ella Ross of Des Moines and many nieces and nephews. Ed was born on Dec. 20, 1928 in Baldwin, IA, the son of George and Delia (Britt) Crowley. He graduated from Maquoketa High School in 1947. Ed served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He worked as a computer specialist with the US Civil Service Commission for over 30 years, retiring in 1985. He was a member of Prince of Peace Parish and served on the Clinton Public Library Board of Trustees. He enjoyed reading, fishing, and traveling, especially going to Ireland.
Ed is survived by his two sisters, Bernie Stratman of Cypress, CA and Teresa Jepsen of Marion, IA; and several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his two sisters, Angela and Evelyn.

Steve was born in Rockwell City, Iowa on January 2, 1952, the son of John R. and Gail (Mosely) Russell. They moved to Clinton in 1956. Steve attended Clinton Schools and was confirmed at First Congregational Church. As an adult he lived in Clinton and Zap, ND before moving to Iowa City. Steve loved all sports and was an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan. He enjoyed fishing with his children and grandchildren and working outdoors.

Terry was born on Oct. 20, 1948 in Clinton, the son of Lee and Frances (Duncan) Wernick. He was raised by Raymond Puetsch and his mother Frances. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict from 1967-1970. He worked at Economy Coating in Camanche for over 36 years. Terry married Debbie Wayne on Sept. 22, 1984 in Camanche.
He enjoyed fishing, where he competed in fishing tournaments and volunteered at fish fry’s. He also enjoyed hunting and his three dogs, Sparkles, Casper, and LeaMarie.
Terry is survived by his wife, Debbie of Camanche; three sons, Brian (Tawnya) Wernick, Kevin Wernick, and Scott (Karen) Sharp all of Camanche; four grandchildren, Darien, Austin, Jessica, and Bailee; and four sisters, Gloria Stahl of Clinton, Leanna (Neil) Wilson of Fairfield, CA, Renee Ottens of Clinton, and Tina (Mark) Ihringer of Williston, ND; and several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
