Rick B. “Ricky” Ullrich age 67 of Ripon, Wisconsin, formerly of Clinton, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics in Madison. There will be no visitation or funeral services. Cremation rites will be accorded. The Pape Funeral Home, Clinton, is assisting the family.

Rick was born in Clinton on June 14, 1947, the son of Ray B. and Margaret (Kroeger) Ullrich. He graduated from Clinton High School in 1965. He worked in the insurance business in Clinton for 25 years.

Terry L. “Toad” Wernick age 66 of Camanche, IA, passed away Monday March 23, 2015 at Genesis East Medical Center in Davenport. Visitation will be held Friday 4 – 7 PM at the Pape Funeral Home, Clinton. Following the visitation there will be a reception at Jerseys in Camanche. Cremation rites will be accorded after the visitation. There will be no funeral services held. Memorials may be given to the Clinton Humane Society or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Terry was born on Oct. 20, 1948 in Clinton, the son of Lee and Frances (Duncan) Wernick. He was raised by Raymond Puetsch and his mother Frances. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict from 1967-1970. He worked at Economy Coating in Camanche for over 36 years. Terry married Debbie Wayne on Sept. 22, 1984 in Camanche.
He enjoyed fishing, where he competed in fishing tournaments and volunteered at fish fry’s. He also enjoyed hunting and his three dogs, Sparkles, Casper, and LeaMarie.

Terry is survived by his wife, Debbie of Camanche; three sons, Brian (Tawnya) Wernick, Kevin Wernick, and Scott (Karen) Sharp all of Camanche; four grandchildren, Darien, Austin, Jessica, and Bailee; and four sisters, Gloria Stahl of Clinton, Leanna (Neil) Wilson of Fairfield, CA, Renee Ottens of Clinton, and Tina (Mark) Ihringer of Williston, ND; and several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

Shirley was born on Nov. 9, 1935 in Clinton, IA, the daughter of Erwin and Katherine (Hughes) Kuehl. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1955. She worked at Mercy Hospital for over 45 years in the dietitian department. Shirley enjoyed traveling, country music, bowling, where she was a member of the 600 Club. She was an avid animal lover.

Shirley is survived by her two brothers, Jack (Darlene) Kuehl of Clinton and Allen (Grace) Luckritz of Clinton; two sisters, Judy Nissen of Silver Springs, FL and
Carol (Richard) Winter of Miles, IA; several nieces and nephews; and close friends, Judy Hinz and Dale Boekeloo both of Clinton. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, and a sister.

Gigi was born on Jan. 5, 1925 in Nacy, France, the daughter of Georges and Marie (Chahours) Chazot. She married Frederick Rose III in France; he died in 2011. She was a manager of a dress shop in Clinton. Gigi loved her two dogs. She and her husband enjoyed camping and wintering in Myrtle Beach, SC. She is survived by her son, Frederick (Margaret) Rose IV of Martinez, GA; two grandchildren, Rebecca and Frederick V; three great grandchildren, Dylan, Ethan, and Brandon.

Vicki was born in Clinton on October 13, 1952, the daughter of Herman and Barbette (Romer) Kleinsmith. She attended Clinton School. Vicki married Craig Odom in October of 1970 in Clinton. Craig passed away in 1978. She had been employed with Jim Walters Windows, Reynold’s Restaurant, Gateway Vending, Woolworth’s and Swiss Colony. Vicki enjoyed fishing, going to the casino, playing bingo, and watching soap operas.

Vicki is survived by her significant other, Jack Earl, with whom she made her home for over 32 years; three sons, Shawn (Lu) Odom, Mike Earl and Chris (Tatia) Earl all of Clinton; nine grandchildren, Dysin, Shailynn, Brandy, Crystal, Payton, Arianna, Breonna, Liam and Elle; a great granddaughter, Landyn and her brother, Steve (Sue) Kleinsmith of Golden, CO. She was preceded in death by her parents, a granddaughter, Angel; a great grandson, Cyrus; her sister, Patricia Sparlin and two brother-in-laws, Billy Joe Foster and LeRoy Rhode. Art was born in Clinton on December 27, 1943, the son of Arthur H. and Isabelle (Jones) Perryman. He served for six years with the U.S. Army with two years of active duty in Vietnam during the Vietnam War. Art was the change-over supervisor at TMK IPSCO for 25 years. He had also been employed at Allied Structural Steel and Illinois Range. His family was very important to him, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed golfing and spending time with family and friends. Art is survived by four children; Melissa (Dan) Wilson of Hillsdale, IL, James (Michelle) Perryman, Nicholas Perryman, and Jennifer Perryman all of Clinton; three grandchildren, Caitlyn, Ashlynn and Baya; a brother, Richard Perryman of Dixon, IL and a sister, Marlene (Leon) Campbell of Davenport and nieces and nephews. Born in Clinton, Iowa Mrs. Freund was the daughter of the late Fredrick and Vivian Peek Hurlburt. Dorothy married Omer S. Freund on November 20, 1947. Omer passed away on April 7, 2012. She was a homemaker and a member of the Catholic Church. Survivors include her son, Stephen Freund and his wife, Susana, Burns, TN; her daughter, Bernadette Clausen and her husband, Robert, Russellville, KY; grandchildren, Jamie Pieper, Jennifer Conard, Vanessa Pickart, Jessica Stewart, and Christopher Freund; great-grandchildren, Garrett Conard, Noah Conard, Caroline Pickart, Alex Pickart, Everett Stewart, Harper Stewart, Dalton Stewart, Hudson Stewart, and Penelope Freund.
