Uncle Loren, I remember when I was little, I did not want to get in the boat to go fishing. I must have been scared of stepping into an object that floats on a surface that I would have sunk. My dad, mother, grandparents or cousin could not get me into it. Then here you come and I followed right behind you. You were a man that exemplified courage, chivalry, selflessness, strength, and how to be an overall great guy. You were always there when you were needed, and took great care of anyone or anything in your care. I don't understand God's will and perhaps never will, but one thing I do know is that everything going he does is for a reason. I can already see you sitting in a fishing boat with your daughter Amanda Sikkema by your side and Nikki and Copper snapping at the fish your bringing in. I love you so much Uncle Loren, say hi to everyone in Heaven for me!
